Its sister company Nickerson Seeds (UK) Limited, is a major UK breeder and supplier of wheat, barley, oilseed rape and peas. AGRICULTURAL SEED SALES SPECIALIST An opportunity has arisen to join the Advanta Agricultural Forages Sales Team. Reporting to the Forage Crops Sales Manager you will be responsible for developing the company’s market leading portfolio of products through established distributors. Managing a portfolio of existing Accounts with scope to grow. Working with the distributors you will help to generate sales through the use of variety demonstration sites, mailings, farmer meetings, customer product training, providing customer feedback and supporting the introduction of new varieties, products and concepts. Computer literate, self motivated and enthusiastic you will be based within a reasonable distance of the main site at Witham St Hughs, alternatively we will consider home based but travelling to Witham St Hughs on a regular basis, there will also be a need for some National travel. A degree or HND in agriculture plus at least 3 years experience of selling agricultural products to farmers or distributors is required. Strong presentation and negotiation skills are a prerequisite along with the ability to work independently to manage sales volumes and margins.
